Can I park a trailer, boat, camper or RV on my
property?

Boats, trailers, campers, RVs, etc, are permitted only
in enclosed areas so as not to be visible from neighboring property or public or
private thoroughfares. Please see
the POA covenants and restrictions located on the website.

Who do I contact to submit plans for new home
construction?
|

To submit construction home
plans, three copies of the
plans and a CD containing the plans in .PDF format, must be submitted to the POA President with all the required forms and
fees attached. The President will
date stamp them and deliver them to the ACC for review. The ACC has 30 days from that date to respond to the review.

If I have a complaint regarding a neighbor or board member, what should I do?

A complaint form has been decided on as the vehicle by which a
complaint
may be registered. This form will
be available soon on the website. It should be completed and submitted to the POA Secretary or mailed to
the NLH Secretary's attention at P.O. Box 1895, Cedar Park, TX 78630.

I own a waterfront lot--can I place a dock and boat on it?
|
|
Only
if you have a permanent residence on the property or by variance from the City
of Jonestown. Prior to construction
of a dock, you will need a building permit from the City of Jonestown.

When are the annual assessments due?
|
|
Annual assessments are sent via electronic mail the first week in January of each year. Payment is due within
30 days or a late fee is applied. Please see the POA Official Docs page for the Northlake Hills POA Assessment and Late Policy.

If I want to remove a tree on my lot do I need NLH ACC
(Architectural Control Committee) approval or a city permit first?
|

The NLH ACC must approve lot clearing.
You will also need a permit from the City of Jonestown for any site
development work or tree removal. Tree
cutting in NLH is prohibited by federal law between March1 and August 1.

If I want to add a fence, pool, fountain, etc to my yard who do
I contact at the POA for approval and do I need any permits from the City of
Jonestown?

Water is sourced by Jonestown Water Supply Corporation. This is a separate entity from the
City of Jonestown. Go to jonestownwsc.org to sign up for bill pay, etc.

All properties within Northlake Hills are on septic systems which are regulated by the LCRA. If
you have an aerobic system you will be required by LCRA to have a maintenance contract in
place as we are in the Lake Travis watershed. There are several good LCRA approved suppliers
for septic services. LCRA website: www.lcra.org.

For propane, there are several good local suppliers. Most will provide automatic refill service at
a discounted rate as a way to optimize each mobilization.
|
|
For City happenings go to the www.jonestowntx.gov site. There you can sign up for email
regarding local events, general notices, and emergency services updates. Our police and
emergency services district (ESD) fire and EMS is stationed in the town center area.

A great resource in this town is Jones Brothers Park as it has lake access and three boat ramps.
Residents can get two parking stickers per household to access the park at no cost. Go to the
City offices with proof of residency to get your window stickers. This is a great place to swim,
fish, picnic, and launch watercraft. Information on this park and others is located at the city
